What is Sunrise, LandRush, Pre-Registration, General Availability?

Sunrise period allows trademark holders an advance opportunity to register domain names corresponding to their brand before names are generally available to the public.

Landrush period is the time during which domain names are available for registration, usually at a higher price and allotted on a first come first-served basis, to entities that may not own a trademark in the name they wish to register.

Pre-Registration is a period before General Availability when ResellerClub will allow you to collect orders at a premium price and attempt to nab the domains when General Availability opens.

General Availability phase follows the Landrush & Pre-Registration phases, This phase is first-come, first-served and open to general public.

You can accept pre-orders for new gTLDs and help your customers' improve their chances of grabbing the Domain name of their choice! Submitting a pre-order earlier would ensure that your customers don't need to go through the hassle of trying to register good quality names manually when the Registry opens up.
